Aetheris is a solo-built narrative design prototype exploring reactive storytelling, squad dynamics, and consequence-driven gameplay.

You play as Kaelen, a young leader navigating loyalty, silence, and sacrifice in a fractured world where memory fades and decisions echo.

This prototype was created to showcase:

  • 🔁 Branching narrative with emotional weight
  • 👥 Companion behavior shaped by trust and leadership
  • ⚔️ Event-based quest structure with ripple effects
  • 🧠 Systemic storytelling — not just lore

Everything — from writing and design to implementation — was developed by a single designer as part of a professional narrative design portfolio.

This is not a full game. It’s a vertical slice of interactive storytelling — a blueprint of what I aim to build at a larger scale.
